POSITION SUMMARY The Guest Engagement Guide is responsible for facilitating the Kiwanis Giraffe Encounter (giraffe feeding) and supporting guest engagement through educational, interactive experiences. This role contributes to a positive guest experience by providing accurate information, promoting conservation messaging, and delivering consistent, welcoming service while maintaining safety standards and animal wellbeing regulations All employees serve as ambassadors of the Zoo and are expected to act in a professional manner consistent with the Zoo’s mission and its core values of Passion, Excellence, Teamwork, Stewardship, and Inclusion. This expectation applies when interacting with the public or when reasonably perceived as representing the organization.
